Your primary role

As a member of Rotork's field service technicians' after-sale services department your primary role is to install, inspect, service and repair actuators primarily in the water, waste water, petrochemical, offshore oil, gas and power generation industries. The role will involve some extensive travel at short notice.

Your duties will include but are not limited to

  • Identify faults, repair and test/commission actuators in the field
  • Modify/upgrade actuators in the field
  • Carry out inspections/health checks on actuators
  • Carry out mechanical and sometimes electrical installation of actuators and associated retrofit adaption components, pedestals and drive shafts
  • To produce accurate and technically/grammatically correct site visit reports for each job
  • To produce and submit accurate and detailed expense claims on a weekly basis
  • To produce risk assessments and review/amend method statements in line with site requirements

You will be required to have

  • A qualified licensed electrician in NSW
  • Experience in a practical engineering environment, preferably in a field based role
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Attend training courses to attain confined space and first aid competence
  • A full clean driving license record
